It’s been a cozy and jolly holiday season so far. The kids are doing great with remote school. Only two more days until Winter Break! Here’s some of the other things we’ve done for fun.
While watching Nutcracker, the kitties starting cuddling and bathing next to me.
New lights for the boys’ rooms. Very exciting!
A Christmas card outtake. A little out of focus, and Sam is showing too much “gerblin” personality.
I taught the boys to string popcorn and cranberry garlands. They did pretty well! Nimbus loves to eat popcorn. She was very troublesome, enticed by her favorite snack dangling on strings! It’s Hanukah!
I baked some stollen. Nimbus stabbed one with her fangs, trying to get a taste. I put them in a protective case.
We had two days of snow last weekend. Not a lot, but enough to go sledding! The boys met up with each of their best friends for an hour of in-person play (masked and outdoors). They had so much fun that they went again the next day, just the two brothers.
Jack has been pushing himself on the violin, gobbling up every challenge his orchestra teacher sets for him. Here’s a performance of Jingle Bells (the same day the song was introduced to him).
