Here’s what we ate today that didn’t come out of a bucket.\u00a0 Pumpkin pancakes with Jack O’ Lantern faces for breakfast.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

\u00a0The Fancy Tiger blog<\/a> showed me that there was a new pie shop<\/a> in Denver.\u00a0 What what? I immediately called Brian and invoked him on an exploration excursion.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

\u00a0Jack and I shared a banana cream pie while Brian ordered a breakfast burrito pie slice.\u00a0 The review from Jack in the above image is pretty much my reaction too.\u00a0 I bought a savory beef pie to eat later.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It was a super long, fun day.\u00a0 Jack was a real trooper, considering his cold.\u00a0 By the time we got to Chipotle for their $2 burrito-if-you-are-in-costume deal, he was wearing out. <\/p>\n

After dinner and neighborhood trick-or-treating I curled up with him under a quilt and we watched It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.\u00a0 He thought Snoopy was hilarious.\u00a0 A good teeth brushing, and then I tucked him in bed.\u00a0 I could hear him over the monitor recounting the night as he fell asleep, “Rocket….candy….pumpkin…rocket….”\u00a0 That pretty much sums it up.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
