{"id":552,"date":"2014-05-23T21:05:00","date_gmt":"2014-05-23T21:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eaumaison.wordpress.com\/2014\/05\/23\/journal-updating"},"modified":"2014-05-23T21:05:00","modified_gmt":"2014-05-23T21:05:00","slug":"journal-updating","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eaumaison.us\/index.php\/2014\/05\/23\/journal-updating\/","title":{"rendered":"Journal updating"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Some other things I meant to write about and haven&#8217;t gotten around to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For the moment, everyone is healthy.\u00a0 Sure, Sam is teething, and my cough and rib pain are still there.\u00a0 But there are no runny noses and I&#8217;m off all drugs.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Sam finally cut a third tooth.\u00a0 It was the tiny lower left incisor.\u00a0 That means the biggies in the front top are still pushing out.\u00a0 They look so painful.<\/li>\n<li>Sleep is better, but not great.\u00a0 We are doing the cry-it-out method for night and naps (like right now, when he woke after barely an hour).\u00a0 It sucks.\u00a0 I hate not being able to go fix and soothe him.\u00a0 We also give him benedryl for tooth pain on some nights, and of course he sleeps awesome after that. NYC next week will mess him up again.\u00a0 Maybe in June we can finally settle his sleep issue?<\/li>\n<li>Ben is totally Hank Hill about our yard.\u00a0 It&#8217;s beautiful.\u00a0 We planted a tree and some bushes and I transplanted some flowers from my mom&#8217;s garden.\u00a0 Some of the irises even bloomed!\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Molly&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Feline_hyperesthesia_syndrome\">FHS<\/a> is pretty bad.\u00a0 We&#8217;ve tried all the simple fixes, with the exception of regular play time (I&#8217;m too busy, but I&#8217;m trying to get Jack on it).\u00a0 The only other thing we can try are serious drugs.\u00a0 Not only do I want to avoid the cost and side effects, but the effectiveness isn&#8217;t really known.\u00a0 Wish I could do something for her though.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m really excited for NYC next week!\u00a0 I haven&#8217;t really mentioned it.\u00a0 I&#8217;m taking Sam with Amanda, my folks and their friends, to chaperone a group of kids.\u00a0 It should be a blast.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Amanda and I went to see the musical Once last week.
