Oh, what a day it was!\u00a0 We had donuts and presents for breakfast, a party at lunch, and pizza and movie for dinner.\u00a0 There were a few meltdowns, as expected, but I think he couldn’t have asked for anything more.\u00a0 Well, more presents.\u00a0 He can’t get enough.\u00a0 But besides that.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Sam was thoroughly confused when he woke from his nap.\u00a0 Poor guy kind of got the short shrift during the party.\u00a0 Luckily I had lots of helpers to hold him.\u00a0 Ben protecting his lawn.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Patience was running low by 1 1\/2 hours, but they stuck it out through the present opening.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

It was a really fun party. I enjoyed having so many of MY friends there too.\u00a0 Almost none of the moms or dads knew each other.\u00a0 For the record, Jack’s friends at the party were Nora, Parker, Ellis, Adam, Ella, Hazel, and Olin.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

After a short quiet time, we relaxed in the cool and empty backyard. <\/p>\n
