I’m a day late in posting here, but the pictures are from yesterday’s Friday the 13th when Sammy turned 9 months old!\u00a0 Sam’s personality has bloomed this month. <\/p>\n

\"Sam<\/a><\/p>\n

He pulls a lot of funny faces.\u00a0 He smiles at the camera.\u00a0 He hides himself to play peek-a-boo.\u00a0 He roared at Jack today while they were play-wrestling. <\/p>\n

\"Sam<\/a><\/p>\n

He grew three new teeth over the past month.<\/p>\n

\"Sam<\/a><\/p>\n

This is not a great picture below, but it captures a bit of his full-face grin.\u00a0 He squints and bares his teeth and it’s so cute!<\/p>\n

He still loves being in his bouncer.\u00a0 He jumps with his hands in the air, like a roller coaster thrill-seeker.\u00a0 He dances with his arms in time to music.\u00a0 He likes books.\u00a0 We read Goodnight Moon every night and he always stops on “Goodnight kittens” to pet them.\u00a0 He turns the pages too.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

He shares his food and pacifier.\u00a0 His eating skills are a lot better after New York.\u00a0 We can let him sit and eat on his own at meals, instead of constantly managing his food for him.\u00a0 We’ve been doing signs and he might be starting to do them.\u00a0 It’s hard to tell, but I think he has a proto-sign for “more” and “all done.”<\/p>\n

This photo session was super brief.\u00a0 He flailed, rolled, and lunged all over the bed.\u00a0 I can’t leave him on the bed anymore.\u00a0 I used to put a pillow barricade and let him play up there while I exercised in the same room.\u00a0 When Jack was with him, I would take a quick shower.\u00a0 Now I can hardly have him on the bed while I hover over him.\u00a0 He fell off the sofa-bed in NYC and didn’t learn his lesson.\u00a0 He will gladly plunge headfirst into the rock pile off our patio if I wasn’t there holding him by the waist. \u00a0 <\/p>\n

\"Sam<\/a><\/p>\n

He’s so close<\/i> to crawling.\u00a0 He leans forward to get up on one foot and one knee.\u00a0 Sometimes he gets on all for and rocks.\u00a0 Andy day now he will figure it out.\u00a0<\/p>\n

My phone is the holy grail for him.\u00a0 I pulled it out to check a message, and the smiles were over.\u00a0 I had to hand him my phone to get more pics.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
