{"id":457,"date":"2014-08-17T16:56:00","date_gmt":"2014-08-17T16:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eaumaison.wordpress.com\/2014\/08\/17\/jack-the-public-speaker"},"modified":"2014-08-17T16:56:00","modified_gmt":"2014-08-17T16:56:00","slug":"jack-the-public-speaker","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eaumaison.us\/index.php\/2014\/08\/17\/jack-the-public-speaker\/","title":{"rendered":"Jack the public speaker"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week they asked Jack to give a talk in Primary today.\u00a0 We wrote it together and put it into book form.\u00a0 We read it together every nap and nightly story time so he could give the talk himself.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>See, traditionally a parent goes up and feeds the kid their lines one by one.\u00a0 But I knew Jack was up for the challenge of speaking on his own.\u00a0 He loves to be picked to do things in Primary, so that was a big motivator (the fact that he was &#8220;chosen&#8221; to give a talk and got to stand on the step stool and talk into the microphone when no one else gets a turn).<\/p>\n<p>I took little sick Sam in just to watch and film.\u00a0 I couldn&#8217;t resist!\u00a0 The teachers were all gushing too and asked if he would repeat it for the Primary Program later this year in front of the whole congregation.\u00a0 I&#8217;ll bet he will!<\/p>\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center;
