Here is another Friday the 13th to commemorate Sam.\u00a0 Is it just me, or have there been a LOT of Friday the 13ths since the one when he was born? <\/div>\n

I post a lot so I don’t have much new stuff to say.\u00a0 Sam loves his brother.\u00a0 He has to copy EVERYTHING Jack does. \u00a0 Consequently, he plays with more advanced toys and playground equipment than Jack did at this age, and is scribbling earlier too.\u00a0 <\/div>\n

Now that the weather is warmer we’ve been playing outside more.\u00a0 Sam is trying to ride the trike and swing and blow bubbles and anything else he can get his hands on.\u00a0 For my birthday I got a bike and kid trailer.\u00a0 This week we’ve taken three trips to playgrounds.\u00a0 The kids love riding in it and they get more time to play than when we walked.\u00a0 (Yes, they both are buckled in five point harnesses and wear helmets.\u00a0 This photo was while I was taking them out.)<\/div>\n

Sam has a large vocabulary.\u00a0 It’s mostly monosyllabic and highly dependent on context to understand what he is saying.\u00a0 But it’s clear he is trying to communicate with us.\u00a0 His favorite word is “sure.”\u00a0 He says it with a Chinese accent, and says it even when he means no.\u00a0\u00a0 We giggle at his enthusiasm when he answers us “sure sure!” I made a list of other words that he says consistently:<\/div>\n
