Amanda beat me to blogging our trip, and did such a great job summarizing that I’m afraid I can’t add much to it!\u00a0 So here are some of my favorite photos with brief explanations.\u00a0 See Amanda’s blog<\/a> and the flickr accounts for me<\/a>, Ben<\/a>, and Jenn<\/a> for more travel bits.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Beautiful produce and crafts at the Union Square Farmer’s Market.\u00a0 I got some art prints for the nursery from this artist<\/a>.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Second breakfast was at Le Pain Quotidien.\u00a0 Loved their bread and spreads.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Third breakfast was hot cocoa from Chocolate by the Bald Man.\u00a0 Next time I’m in NY I’ll have to stop here for dessert.\u00a0 The waffles and fondue looked really good.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Tim Burton exhibit at MOMA was fun, but I think I enjoyed seeing the other classics even more.\u00a0 And the benches.\u00a0 I was a big fan of the benches.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I’m glad we made it to a deli.\u00a0 I had a rueben in the hospital cafeteria yesterday because I can’t get this sandwich out of my head.\u00a0 I love pastrami and cole slaw!\u00a0 Ben attacked a true NY cheesecake and declared it delicious.<\/p>\n

Bebe Neurwirth made this show for me.\u00a0 No one can do isolations like that girl.<\/p>\n

Ben and I skipped the second museum in favor of extra sleep the next day.\u00a0 We leisurely got up and walked to Rockefeller Plaza.\u00a0 They had Easter lilies and gorgeous azalea trees.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/a><\/a><\/div>\n

Mavi and Jeff met us at Jing Fong in Chinatown for dim sum lunch.\u00a0 By the way, I have no idea why I look so grumpy in most of my pictures.\u00a0 Maybe because my mouth was always full?\u00a0 I seriously had a great time during the whole trip.\u00a0 I apologize to my family if I looked like a grumpy toad the whole time.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After dim sum we shopped around SoHo and got our second round of Pinkberry.\u00a0 I picked up some beautiful yarn to add to my basket of beautiful yarns with no purpose yet.\u00a0 Then we had a fancy-pants dinner at BLT Fish.\u00a0 This restaurant tried their hardest to make me dislike them, but I wouldn’t let them.\u00a0 First, many of you know I hate seafood.\u00a0 Yes, all seafood.\u00a0 Yes, I have tried “this is the best though, it doesn’t even taste fishy” many times as my fellow diners entice me to try again.\u00a0 I still hate it.\u00a0 So I ordered the only non-fish item on the menu, filet mignon.\u00a0 Normally this is no biggie-except for the whole rare meats are bad when you’re pregnant thing.\u00a0 I had them cook it as much as possible without ruining it and they did a perfect job.\u00a0 It was still delicious.\u00a0 Everyone else seemed enchanted with their fish entrees.\u00a0 Ben got to make up for all the fish-less meals he endures at home.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

After Lend Me a Tenor (which was really good and funny) we found dessert and snacks at Junior’s across from the theater.\u00a0 I realized that I had ordered pickles and ice cream, how cliche is that?<\/p>\n

Here’s mah swag, lots of fun things to take home, aside from my fun memories.\u00a0 I love traveling with my family!\u00a0 I hope it doesn’t slow down once we have a kid.\u00a0 (I foresee a fantastic trip to Disneyland in 5 years or so).\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
