I can smell the cool air coming! Fall invigorates my knitting lust.\u00a0 I have several projects to report.\u00a0 You already saw the blue vest<\/a> and green tri peak ha<\/a>t I made for Jack.\u00a0 I also posted about the forest green meathead hat<\/a>.\u00a0 But here’s an action shot.\u00a0 <\/div>\n

I think I also talked about these sweaters I knit while in GJ. Here they are finished. It’s too warm to wear them yet. <\/p>\n

I made a knit hat from the “Aviatrix” pattern.\u00a0 I used some soft, stretchy yarn from my stash, and didn’t know its weight or brand.\u00a0 Even though I made the 0-3 month size and small needles, it knit up huge!\u00a0 It must be bulkier weight than I guessed.\u00a0 The hat fits me perfectly.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

I remade the hat in cashmerino aran for Jack in a manly orangey red.\u00a0 Smaller yarn weight and small needles, so it fits!\u00a0 These photos are from before I blocked it.\u00a0 I still need to get a button.\u00a0 I’ll have to post more photos when it’s cool enough for me to force the finished hat on his head.<\/p>\n

Finally, I have a sweater started for myself.\u00a0 I ordered some great yarn from Knit Picks and already knit through the first skein.\u00a0 This photo is from the start – it’s about 4 inches longer than shown here.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

I also have my lacy rainbow shawl kicking around, and the argyle sweater for Jack.\u00a0 It’s probably too big for him this winter, so I slowed down my work on it.\u00a0 Plus I have 6 skeins of blue heather yarn I spun on my wheel that needs to be knit into a cardigan.\u00a0 So much to do!\u00a0 Good thing the good TV shows are back on air for me to knit along. <\/p>\n
