I worked on the 14th so today is officially Valentine’s Day for Ben and me. We exchanged chocolates, had lunch out, and browsed FT. I think a walk with a cranky baby is in our near future.\u00a0 Here’s some random pictures and thoughts.<\/p>\n

Jack practicing his standing skills (Grade: C+). At a Super Bowl gathering he “played” with Zach, a friend’s baby who is familiar with other kids via daycare.\u00a0 Jack was stunned by this other being who attempted to interact with him.<\/p>\n

The other day Jack grabbed a bag of Salt and Malt Vinegar Boulder Chips off the table and scattered them on the floor.\u00a0 I’m still sad.\u00a0 Those were good chips! \u00a0<\/p>\n

Speaking of snacks, there’s a new Dr. Pepper called Dr. Pepper 10 (Ten?).\u00a0 It’s pretty good.\u00a0 Oh, the exciting life I live. <\/p>\n

Molly enjoys her new view.\u00a0 I wanted to make a grumpy troll face on our grill snow fall, but it was too cold. Most of the snow has melted and today we’re gallivanting about without jackets. (Picture from last week, before snow melt)<\/p>\n

Getting excited for our trip to Boston next month.\u00a0 Our friends graciously offered to pick us up at the airport!\u00a0 Oh my heavens, I can’t explain how happy this makes me.\u00a0 We were seriously stressing out over the plan to get a taxi and install a car seat and cart all our gear alone to the airport.\u00a0 Friends are the best.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Ben bought me irises.\u00a0 I love early spring flowers.\u00a0 The purple is my Coraline<\/a> sweater.\u00a0 I’m getting stockinette ennui.\u00a0 I picked up some fabric at FT today.\u00a0 Hopefully an easy, fast project will recharge my knitting juices.\u00a0 Oh, we ate at Chipotle today.\u00a0 After jealously watching us scarf burritos, and scattering the bites we gave him on the floor, I bestowed a basket on Jack.\u00a0 He thought it was dang fantastic.<\/p>\n

Flannels purchased today. Must make more baby blankets! They have even more vinyl coated fabrics.\u00a0 I’m going to pick a pattern to lay out under Jack’s high chair.\u00a0 Meals are getting messy!<\/p>\n

I’m getting even MORE excited for our trip to GJ this weekend.\u00a0 It’s my Bday, but mostly I’m excited to leave work behind and see my family.\u00a0 I love the Roots on Jimmy Fallon, and we discovered their appearance on Yo Gabba Gabba (we watch their songs online for Jack).\u00a0
