While Jack took a nap we dashed back downtown for the arts festival.\u00a0 It started off another perfect day for walking. Cool and cloudy.\u00a0 But the thunder started its warning. <\/p>\n

Hmm, looks like it’s really raining.\u00a0 We should stay in this booth for a bit. \u00a0 <\/p>\n

\u00a0Whoa!\u00a0 Shoot, I can’t keep my feet dry in this.\u00a0 I think it’s up around my toes.\u00a0 Water bottles and flip flops start floating past us.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

\u00a0Uhh, this is really bad.\u00a0 The guys across the street just lost a few two by fours to the torrents.\u00a0 It’s pounding.\u00a0 A loading dolly just floated past us in the gutter!<\/p>\n

\u00a0Ahh, the rains abated after quite a while. We were up to our ankles in the tent.\u00a0 We ventured down the middle of the street where the water was more shallow.\u00a0 Then at a junction we hopped up to the sidewalk.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

\u00a0And we were so proud we remembered the umbrellas today.\u00a0 Fat lot of good they did us!\u00a0 But then we said “oh, screw it!” We’re already soaked, let’s see if any booths are opening back up.\u00a0
